Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must have been purchased directly from microscooter.ca, and be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. A $15 return label shipping charge will be deducted from your refunded amount. Please note:

  • Returns are not valid on helmets or other protective gear, Warehouse Deals/Discontinued or Used items.
  • Parts and accessories are not (normally) eligible for our $15 return service, reason being that a majority of our parts and accessories are priced around $20 or less. If you are returning parts or accessories and are interested in the $15 service, please send our team an email with the request to info@microscooter.ca so that we can assess options.
  • If an item is returned that is not new/unused, the right to a refund will be forfeited.
  • If you have an item that is not new/unused that you wish to return, please contact our Customer Support team for options at info@microscooter.ca.

Submit a return request

Click the profile icon in the store's navigation, or go to the refund policy or a returns page, and then request a return.

  1. Log in to your account: 
  2. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
  3. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
  4. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
  5. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
  6. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  7. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
  8. Click Request return

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you’ll receive a refund within 5-10 business days. The return shipping fee of $15 will be deducted from your refund for the use of this label, which helps cover return shipping/restocking.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Gift Returns

If you received the item as a gift, we are able to offer a gift card credit for any returned items; the store credit would equal whatever the purchaser spent on the item in the original order, minus the $15 return label fee. For this to work, the item(s) need to be originally purchased on our website. Please email info@microscooter.ca to initiate a gift return.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
