Young children love the feeling of cruising down the sidewalk while keeping pace. The Chopper balance bike allows kids to glide along on their bikes with both feet safely in reach of the ground as they begin to learn to balance and coast. In addition to being fun, a balance bike helps with gross-motor skill development. It builds confidence, and provides an easy transition to a pedal bike without the need for training wheels as they've already learned how to move their body weight to balance on 2 wheels.
Balance bikes, also known as push bikes or run bikes, are pedal-less bikes designed for young kids. As soon as kids can walk confidently (generally around 18 months), they can start on a balance bike. These bikes are different from tricycles in that they have two wheels, and are intended as real bicycles as opposed to toys.
The ultra-light construction and compact design makes this balance bike easy to transport and can even be slung over the handlebars of many strollers when not being used. Gripped foam-composite wheels are sturdy and fun for children up to 20 kg, and hug the sidewalk for added safety. The wheels are non-marking, so your little one can ride in the safety of your home. Comes with an adjustable foam seat and handlebars to accommodate your child’s growth and sharing among siblings.
